7 Not 10,00 Candidates Were Arrested In Anambra State - JAMB Declares
Contrary to falsehood peddled around that 10,000 candidates that sat for the Joint Admissions Matriculations examination in Anambra state were arrested for allegedly indulging in malpractices, JAMB has declared that only seven (7) people were arrested.
JAMB coordinator in Anambra state, Mrs Lynda Aja-Nwachukwu, said the true position is that only seven people were arrested by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
She, however, said that the examination in the state was a huge success and that plans were on to build on it to achieve more successes.
As reported by Dailypost, Aja-Nwachukwu said that some problems identified like candidates not being able to print at some examination centres, would soon be a thing of the past, adding that JAMB was prepared to give the best examination process in the country.
