It is such a good news to umu Abia state and umu-Igbo nile as ABIA State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu secures a $1.5B project for the construction of a Shoe Industry in Aba, the commercial nerve Centre of Abia State from Huajian Shoe Industry in Dongguan, Guangzhou, China.

Governor Ikpeazu,in a press release by his Chief Press Secretary, Enyinnaya Appolos, revealed the agreement was secured during a meeting with Mr. Zhang Huarong, Group Chairman of the Huajian Group in the course of his official visit to China for the 1st Nigeria-China Governors Investment Forum.

The visit of the governor is a move to intensify the made-in-Aba Campaign and secure commercial deal between of both governments.

The Industrial Training Fund, ITF, begs Enugu state government to accept their joint partnership offer to train youths of the state to acquire manpower development.

Sir Peter Agbo, who is the ITF Director of Corporate Planning, in an interaction with Vanguard at the 28th Enugu International Trade Fair, said they were at the moment, training 500 youths brought from all the local government areas of the state in its Industrial Skills Development Programme, NISDP.
