Igbo Son Arraigned In Court For Allegedly Beating His Girlfriend's 5 Year Old Son To Death

London based Igbo son, Mazi Marvyn Iheancho,39,is standing trial for  allegedly “savagely battering his girlfriend’s five-year-old son to death.”

He was said to have been angered after the boy identified as Model Ale,  lost one of his trainers in a park in South London.

According to Prosecutors, the boy quietly said “sorry” for losing his trainer, reports said.

Anambra State Police Raids Large Consignment Of Fake Shoe Polish Worth N30 Million In Onitsha

An underground Warehouse owned by one Mr. Ebube, located at a 3-storey Plaza along Marine Market Onitsha which was stocked with a alrge consignment of suspected fake shoe polish worth about N30 million has been raided by the Nigerian Police, Anambra state Command.

The adulterated products were craftily packed in unidentified cartons on the outside with the original carton hidden on the inside.

A Young Man Gunned Down In Public In Anambra State By Suspected Cultist

Another unpalatable occurence visited Anambra state as a young man full of life was gunned down in a day broad light today, Monday.

The unfortunate occurence which took place at the village sqaure, Ebe Umuezu, Awovu Village in Enugwu Ukwu, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra state.

Imo State Police Command Parade 36 Kidnap Suspects Including A Serial Rapist

Operatives of the Imo State Police Command led by the Commissioner of police, CP Ezike yesterday, Tuesday, paraded about 36 notorious kidnap suspects who accused of terrorising the Imo state capital, Owerri.

Among the arrested were armed robbers, cultists, part of whom was one accused of being a serial rapist.

Agony and mourning bedevilled friends and family members of a handsome young man whose life was taken prematurely by unknown gunmen.

Mazi Tochukwu Paschal Njoku, a fashion designer and 400 level student of the Federal University of Technology, FUTO, Imo state, met his early death on Monday June 12 after he was declared missing on Thursday June 8.

According to reports from family and friends, Mazi Tochukwu, was missing after leaving with friends from Ihiagwa to Owerri to collect some materials.

NGO Petitions IG Of Police Over Brutality On An Alleged Witchcraft In Abia State

Moved by pity over the brutality on an accused witchcraft, an NGO foundation for Environmental Rights, Advocacy and Development (FENRAD) has petitioned the Inspector General of Police.

The victim, Mazi Esau Ihemeje who hails from Ndiolumbe, Nvosi in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government of Abia State, was brutalised on May 2nd, 2017 over allegations that he was a witchcraft.

Reorts said the young man was attacked by the members of Vigilante from his village around 4am, the early hour of May 2nd with claims that he was inolved in witchcraft.

Human Skull, AK47 Found In Shrine After Police Raid, Native Doctor On The Run

The Imo Police Command, has declared Chidera Njoku, a native doctor, wanted after recovering 90 rounds of AK47 Rifle and a human skull in his shrine.

The Commissioner of Police in Imo, Chris Ezike, made this disclosure while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Owerri.

Mr. Ezike said that through a calculated community policing and whistle blowing, the police raided the shrine at Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo and recovered a human skull as well as AK47 rifle.

Police Arrest Over 6 Persons In Inter-Cult Clash That Killed 2, Destroyed Many Properties

The Joint Military Task Force in Assa community in Ohaji /Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State have arrested over inter-cult war which had allegedly claimed three lives.

According to the Pucnh, a community leader revealed that the inter cult war which started on Wednesday, June 14, had claimed three lives, while about seven houses were vandalised.

The state Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, however, said that only one person died in the clash.

The young man identified as Mike Solomon Aondo from katsina Ala in Benue state, who claimed to be residing in Markurdi Benue state where he engages in his illegal business was nabbed on  18th June, 2017 at about 08:30 am, along Otukpo/obolloafor road, Enugu state.

Solomon was alleged to have been one of the notorious car snatchers in Makurdi that have robbed people of their properties.

Three Members Of The Kidnap/Robbery That Robbed Rev. Fr. Arrested

Three members of the kidnap/robbery gang that allegedly abducted a Reverend Father with Okigwe Catholic Diocese have been nabbed by the Imo State Police Command. 

The suspects identified as Chinedu Odoemena, 24, Ogadimma Ajoronu, 20 and Mazi Uzoman Mejuru, 48, of Umuokpu Agbajah in Nwangele LGA of Imo State, reportedly kidnapped and robbed the priest of his Toyota Highlander jeep while on transit along Umuokpu Agbajah in Nwangele L.G.A with two others on June 16th.

EFCC Remands Mazi Ibe In Custody Over N600,000 Million Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have reportedly remanded Nwafor Mazi Emmanuel Ibe, the Director of Administration at the Police Service Commission, in their custody for an alleged N600m fraud.

Mazi Ibe was said to have been detained last week following a petition by some members of the Police Service Commission Cooperative Society that he allegedly collected millions of naira from them meant to be used to purchase land.

Some members of the cooperative society were said to have also introduced their families and friends to the scheme.
