Enugu State Polcie Command, yesterday, Tuesday, confirmed that two suspects have been arrested in connection with the brutal murder of Miss Helen Sunday, the orderly to Deputy Governor of Enugu State, Hon. Cecelia Ezeilo, stating also, that the officer was not asassinated as many insinuated, but killed by armed robbery.
Nwafor Igbo, Pastor Nnaemeka Ukenye, 48, leader of a popular Pentecostal churche in Umuahia, Behold He Commeth Pentecostal Church, Umudike branch, in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, has been shot dead.
Reports say he killed by six-man gang, who butchered his body, near his poultry and piggery farm/office, in Umuobia Housing Estate, Umuahia, Abia State capital, when he went to his farms, last Saturday, to feed his birds and pigs with 12 of his workers.

Umunne abụọ, Chukwudi and Sophia Uguweke were, on 11th May, sentenced to two years imprisonment each for committing internet fraud by the Federal High Court in Warri, Delta state.
They were arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on a single-count charge bordering on possession of fraudulent documents with intent to defraud one Lisa Marie Nors, an American citizen.
Both brother and sister (siblings) were arrested by the EFCC following a tip-off that they were defrauding foreigners through internet scams.

A 43 year old Nnewi-born Igbo son, Egemonye Chrsitian Chinedu, has reportedly been nabbed by the Malawi Police at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA), Lilongwe, on Monday afternoon, May 8 for alledgedly attempting to externalise US$7,000 (MK5 million), hidden in his hand luggage.

Just hours after we received a disturbing message of a doctor who committed suicide in Abia state, another ugly incident occurs in Abia as a wife reportedly stabbed her husband to death at the early hours of Wednesday 10th May.
The ugly incident took place at NO 4 Aguatta St off Omuma Rd Aba, Abia state.
According to Kiglsey Uche who shared the message on Facebook, the cause of the incident has not yet been ascertained with many of the indigenes thronging to the scene of the unfortunate.
The issue has not been taken up by the Police as at the time of this post.
Nwafor-Igbo from Abia state, Dr. Mbakwe has sreportedly committed suicide as he shot himself with a gun at his home in Aba, Abia State.
The 74 year old, reports say, may have killed himself out of frustration as he had been stuck to his bed with an undisclosed illness that has gone over 30 years.
The family has reported the matter to the Abayi Police Division and his remains have been deposited at the state mortuary.

Men of the Nigerian Police Force, Imo State command have apprehended alleged cultists during their initiation ceremony in a Secondary school.
The cultists were alleged to have been rampaging the Orji Comprehensive Secondary School and shooting indiscriminately during their initiation.
This was made known in a statement by the Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike in the state. The state reads in parts:
Unknown gunmen have killed an aide to the Deputy Governor of Enugu State.
The gunman struck Tuesday night in Enugu, the State capital killing the aide-de-camp, ADC, to Mrs. Cecilia Ezeilo.
Although details of the incident are not clear yet, the deputy governor’s aide, a Police Sargent, Hellen was said to have been shot dead at Abakpa-Nike axis of Enugu metropolis at about 10 pm on her way to her residence after official duty.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amarizu, while confirming the incident said “It is a painful news.”
Abia state Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu's Media Aide, Tony Onyenweaku, brings to the public alleged corrupt activities of his colleague Emeka Okwun.
Mr. Tony alleged that Emeka Okwun contrary to the governor's decision, collects money from traders at Isi Gate using one Ikenna as his tax collector.
