Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squard, SARS, over the weekend guned down two out of the four notorious gun men in a gun battle, in Aba, Abia state.

The security officers who were alerted on the menace of the notorious gang who had terrorised Aba town and its environs for long and, they immediatley swung into action.

The heavy gun confrontation they had with the armed robbers ended in their favour as they killed two and arrested the other two.

FBI Hunt For Igbo Son For Allegedly Defrauding A Victim Over $5 Million

An Igbo young man,Kelechi Declan James, is in deep trouble as the United States’ Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone with information that could lead to his arrest for allegedly scamming victim of more than $5 million.

The information as obtained from the FBI website read: "agents are looking for the public’s assistance in locating Kelechi Declan James. He has federal criminal charges against him from an investigation by FBI New York’s Cyber Crime Task Force."

Officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, were mobbed today at Nnewi, Anambra state while they demanded for bride from indigenes of the area.

Another Nwa-Igbo, Ngozi, Has Been Nabbed By The NDLEA

It's another bad news as Nwa-igbo, Ngozi Owunna, 34, was nabbed by the officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Lagos State command for allegedly distributing cannabis within Ikeja.

Ngozi was allegedly caught alongside others, at Allen Junction with 600 grammes of hemp after close monitoring by undercover narcotic agents, the NDLEA says.

Umu-Igbo abụọ, Okonkwo Godwin, 57, an importer of jewellery and Nnaemeka David Chinedu, 37, an auto parts dealer, have been nabbed by Officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos for drugtrafficking.

 Okonkwo allegedly hid cocaine in his boxer shorts while Chinedu ingested 94 wraps of heroin which according to the anti-drup agency is one of the largest quantities of drugs ingested by any suspect at the Lagos airport lately.

Young Man Nabbed By The Abia State Police Command For Stealing A 6 Years Old Child

The Abia State Police Command have nabbed one Chibueze Nwaozuzu of Amaigbo in Nwangele Local Government Area of the state for allegedly stealing a 6-year-old boy. The suspect sold the child to one Comfort Umunnake, who was also arrested and the victim recovered from her.

Nwaozuzu was nabbed following a report received of the missing 6 years old child identified as Chinecherem Anoruo. The suspect made useful statements to the police confessing to the crime stating that he stole the child and sold the child to Umunnakwe for the sum of two hundred thousand (N200, 000.00) Naira.

Imo State Police Command, yesterday Wednesday, paraded three south south suspectd fraudsters who allegedly defraud gullible people with the lie that they would be enlisted into the Nigerian Army.

The suspects identified as Kingsley Inyang, Edet Okon and Victor Akpan were arrested on April 4, 2017.

Inyang, who was nabbed dressed in army uniform confessed that they have defrauded 22 people and the uniform he wore belonged to his father, a retired soldier.

A Female Corper Serving In Enugu Drowns In A Swimming Pool, Two Arrested

A yet to be identified female Corps member of NYSC, Enugu State has reportedly drowned in a hotel swimming pool on Saturday, at Ugwuoba community in Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Confirming the incident, the Enugu State Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Ebere Amaraizu, (SP), revealed that tow persons in connection with the tragic happening have been arrested.

She said “a group of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members had gone to a hotel at Ugwuoba in Enugu State identified as Hotel De Oranzi Resort, Agungwu Ugwuoba for swimming.
