10,000 Candidates Caught In Exam Malpractice In Anambra State

The Joint Admissions Matriculation Board, JAMB, says it has handed over disciplinary authority, about 10,000 candidates caught endulging in examination malpractices during the UTME exams in Anambra.

Lynda Nwachukwu, the Coordinator of the board in Anambra, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Awka on Saturday.

NAN reports that the all computer-based testing (CBT) mode 2017 UTME, which started on May 13 in 642 centres nationwide, ended on May 20.

Ms. Nwachukwu said the examination, which took place in 28 centres in the state, was successful.

Amen Amarachi Rochas, second son of Imo state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has just graduated from Southern Methodist University Dallas Texas US.

The lad bagged Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering respectively today May 20, 2017

The graduation ceremony was graced by Governor Rochas Okorocha, his wife and first Lady of Imo state, Ugo Nneoma Nkechinyere Okorocha PhD, their children and other dignitaries.

Two Igbo Bag PhD From Horward University

Two Umu-Igbo, Kelechi C. Fluitt and Ugo Okeke have successfully graduated from the Howard University of the United States of America with the PhD.

Kelechi C. Fluitt graduated as a Counseling Psychologist while graduated from the Department of Chemistry.

Kelechi was in her time at the university, honoured at the BSU Scholarship Gala for outstanding graduate student leadership).

Ebonyi State government has demoted Five principals who involved in examination malpractice in the 2016 Senior Schools Certificate Examination.
