Maazi Ogbonnaya Has Advice For Those Who Disregard Their Mother Tongue
Why should we call our language local and English civilised language? We can never be civilised if we continue degrading our language but hop for what belongs to others. The best thing is, you African man know your language alongside English or even thousands of other languages you wish to learn. You're not making any sense to me if you know millions of languages and boast of not speaking your mother tongue.
Ndị Afrịka, our African languages are not local. They serve the same purpose English serves which is communication. Africa is rich in Culture. Language brings those cultures to limelight. Why must you tell the world that your mother is a bad cook and her soups are tasteless? Thinking my thinkings.
