Nnamdi Kanu, His Father, In An Ongoing Meeting With South Eastern Governors
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is in a meeting with governors of the South Eastern region in the company of his father, His Royal Highness, Eze Israel Okwu Kanu.
The meeting which is said to be holding inside the Enugu state Government House was scheduled to discuss the planned election boycott by the IPOB.
In attendance at the meeting are Governors Dave Umahi of Ebonyi (Chairman of South East Governors forum), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State and Anambra state Deputy Governor, Dr Nkem Okeke who represented Anambra state governor, Willie Obiano.
At the time of this report, however, Governors Rochas Okorocha of Imo and Dr Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia were said to be on their way.
According to Emmanuel Uzor, the chief press secretary to Governor Umahi who confirmed the meeting, added that one of the major issues for discussion is the is the election boycott as planned by the IPOB over the forthcoming Anambra election on November 18.
