Breaking: Anambra Businessman Drags Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB To Court Over Anambra State Election Boycott

A business man in Anambra, Dr. Richard Ndubuaku, has sued the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu at the Federal High Court in Abuja over their plan to boycott the forthcoming gubernatorial election of the state.

He is seeking for an injunction from the court in the suit with number FHC/ABJ/ CS/756/2017 to restrain Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB from boycotting the Anambra State governorship election scheduled to hold on November 18.

Pastor Chris Amuchie who coordinates the General Coordinator of the Igbo Intercessory Prayer Ministry has advised the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and other pro-Biafra agitators to adopt spiritual violence in their struggle.

According to the US-based pastor who made the statement during an interview with Daily Sun, it is only through strong spiritual battle the Igbo can be liberated from the severe marginalization and persecution they witness in Nigeria.

President Buhari Cancels Tomorrow's Federal Executive Meeting To Allow Ministers Enjoy Sallah Holiday

President Muhammadu Buhari has officially canceled the meeting of the Federal Executive Council Meeting (FEC) scheduled to hold tomorrow.

The information was given out by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed today, Wednesday.

He said President Buhari canceled the meeting because the Eid-el-KABIR holiday deprived the ministers enough time to prepare the documents for the meeting.

Former leader of the Niger Delta Militants, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, has reassured of the readiness the South East, South South groups to thwart any move by the Nigerian Government to rearrest leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

Asari, the leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Force, NDPSF, spoke in a video where he also expressed doubt that it was President Muhammadu Buhari that returned from London.

Addressing “fellow Biafrans”, Asari said the same stone the biblical David used to crush Goliath is still available for Biafra.

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, staged a huge rally in Malaga, Spain yesterday, Saturday and it cought much attention.

The group which had a mixture of umu Igbo and some whites were seen parading the streets with chants of "give us referendum...we are tired of being in Nigeria.

Same crusade is being carried out by their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu here in Nigeria.

BSS Is To Protect Biafran Lands From Fulani Herdsmen Attack, Not A Terror Grop, IPOB Reassures

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, today, Saturday, dismissed claims it established the Biafra Security Service (BSS) to cause mayhem in the country, stating the BSS was established to protect the communities in Biafra land from Fulani herdsmen attack.

In a press release by its publicity secretary, Mr Emma Powerful, IPOB stated it will not go back on the formation of the BSS, adding it does not contest the formation with anyone as the BSS would remain.

A Twitter user gave a witty resonse to President Muhammadu Buhari on his tweet where he complained of inherenting a failed economy from the past adminstration of Former President Goodluck Jonathan. 

The Twitter user who apparently was infuriated by the tweet, subtly bashed President Buhari with an analogy with the Real Madrid coach who inherited a nearly collapsed team from the former Coach, Rafael Benitez yet went ahead to win the Champions league in same season and has since won multiple of trophies with same set of players.

Nnamdi Kanu, His Father, In An Ongoing Meeting With South Eastern Governors

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is in a meeting with governors of the South Eastern region in the company of his father, His Royal Highness, Eze Israel Okwu Kanu.

The meeting which is said to be holding inside the Enugu state Government House was scheduled to discuss the planned election boycott by the IPOB.
