Pan Niger Delta and Middle Belt groups, in a coalition, joined forces with the Independent People of Biafra, IPOB, under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to reject the withdrawal of the quit notice issued on the Igbo community in the North by the Arewa youths.
According to the agitators, the Arewa youths who are reportedly scting political scripts written by their elders and political elites in the North, withdrew the quit notice to fool Nigerians to join voices to demand for the re-arrest of Nnamdi Kanu.
Emeka Ojukwu Jr, the son of the late Biafra Warlord, Chukuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the Ikemba, in this interview with the PUNCH, praisd the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu over his intensity and tenancity in carrying on with the Biafra agaitation, Ojukwu himself begun and sustained before his death.

He said the interventions were from the Northern Governors through their chairman and Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, Northern traditional rulers, the Director-General of the DSS and some officials of the Presidency.
