The Indigenous People of Biafa, IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, Tuesday embarked on a community service in Umuahia, the capital of Abia state, as they repaired some damaged roads in the area.

MASSOB Joins Other Nigerians To Attack President Buhari On National Broadcast, Says He's A Hypocrite

The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, under the leadership of Uchenna Madu has taken President Buhari to the slaughter over his National Braodcast yesterday, Monday.

MASSOB, condemned Buhari’s first address to the Nation after returning from a long medical vacation from London where the President instead of addressing the any problems Nigeria is bedeviled with at the moment, engaged in tales of and threats for National unity, stating it is “hypocritical of President Muhammadu Buhari to believe in one Nigeria.”

Buhari's National Broadcast Was Pre-Recorded To Avoid Any "Accident," He May Return To London Soon -- Sahara Reporters

Online Media giant, Sahara Reporters have revealed that the National broadcast of President Buahri today, Monday, was pre-recorded to avoid any unpalatable inventualities.

President Buhari who returned to Nigeria on Saturday after vacationing in London to treat a yet unknown protracted ailment that took him well-over 104 days and 6 hours.

He has now resumed duties fully after giving his National Broadcast and writing to the National Assembly of his readiness to commence official duties.

Anambra state governor, Willie Obiano touched down at the funeral of late Chief Kennedy C. Uba in style.

Willie Obiano who is always styled with his Chieftancy Staff, attended the burial in charade of his Aides and friends.

The deceased was a younger to the former Commissioner of Anambra state, Chief (Sir) Evarist Uba.

The burial was at the deceased's hometown, Isuofia, Aguata L.G.A of the state.

Obiano paid his condolence in traditional manner as a titled Chief and left afterwards.

 

 

Osita Chidoka Emerges UPP Flag Bearer With Landslide Victory

Osita Chidioka has emerged winner of the primary election of the United Progressive Party (UPP).

The now, flag bearer of the party, won with a landslide victory of over 97% with 1,222 votes of the 1,328 total votes cast.

Chudi Offordile, the only candidate contesting against him, pulled just 98 votes.

IPOB Has Not Cancelled Anambra Election Boycott, Decision Not Reached Yet -- Prof. Uzodimma

The media was agog yesterday, Friday, following the meeting of the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Maazi Nnamdi Kanu and the Leadership of the Ala-Igbo Development Foundation, with reports that Nnamdi Kanu had withdrawn his threat to boycott Anambra state election.

According to reports, the President of the organization, Prof. Uzodimma Nwala was quoted as saying “after many deliberations, IPOB has assured it won’t disrupt Anambra state governorship election.”

Willie Obiano Donates 33-Seater Bus To Onitsha Club, Says "Willie Is Working"

Anambra state governor, Willie Obiano has gifted Onitsha Sports Club a 33-seater coaster Bus.

The Bus, a product of the home company, Innoson Merchandise, is according to the governor, a delivery on the campaign promises he made to the Anambra people of improving the Sports sector.

He said it was part of the "Willie is Working Project."

He was flanked by the officals of Onitsha Sports, Innoson and other government officials during the presentation.

Take Nnamdi Kanu Back To Prison Federal Government Orders Court

The Federal Government of Nigeria has ordered the court to return the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to the prison for allegedly flouting court orders and disturbing public peace and order.

This is coming weeks after the Arewa youths who had declared quit notice order on the Igbo community living in the North ordered the Federal Government to return Kanu to prison and declare him a terrorist.

BBC Caricatures President Buhari Over His Long Medical Holiday In London

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BCC) brought the reputation of President Muhammadu Buahri to the slaughter.

The President who has spent over 90 days in his current second long medical trip to London is yet to make any declaration of intent to return to Nigeria, with the claim that he would return only when he received clearance from his Doctors.

Anambra state government has dismissed the news of the attack of gunmen on members of the Assemblies of God Church in Oguta Onitsha in Anambra

According to the Senior Special Adviser to Anambra state governor, on Online Media, Hon. Ifeanyi Aniagho, news was a mere rumour that was blown out of proportion. 

He wrote on his official Facebook page: "No Church Attack in Onitsha... Please Ignore the Rumour!

"The Onitsha incidence has nothing to do with church attack as confirmed by the Anambra Police Public Relations Officer, Princess Nkiru Nwode.
