Senate President Condolence Message To Anambra State Over Massacre

More condolence messages pour in for the massacre of worshippers at St. Philip’s Catholic Church, Anambra State early morning of today, Sunday as Nigeria Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, sent his message to the government and people of the state.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu, Saraki stated that the killing of worshippers represents the purest kind of evil, and the security services must not stop until the perpetrators are brought to justice.

Nwafor, Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has sent his condolence message to the people of Anambra state over the massacre of at St. Philip’s Catholic Church Ozubulu, of the state, describing it as beastly and sacrilegious.

According to Senator Ekweremadu, the day was a black Sunday, not only for Anambra State, but also the entire nation,

He beckoned on the security agencies to fish out the killers and bring them to justice.

Anambra State Governorship Election Must Hold, MASSOB Fires Back At IPOB

As more rancor and tension mount as the Anambra state gubernatorial race of November 18th draws near.

A faction of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has attacked the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for calling for the boycott of the election.

MASSOB of Ralph Uwazuruike faction is a known antagonist and sworn critic of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB.

According to MASSOB, IPOB was only trying to kill people of the South East by asking them not to vote in the election.

Biafra Agitation Goes Spiritual As Namdi Kanu Visits Orlu High Priest

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has visited the High Priest said to be the spiritual father of IPOB.

Nnamdi Kanu's visit which was confirmed by his younger brother Prince Kanu, is believed, was to seek spiritual counseling a`nd assistance from the High priest who is also, the High Priest of Orlu, Imo state.

Leaders of northern youths and members of the Arewa coalition are in an ongoing meeting with some North resident Ndigbo in Kano over the quit notice the Northern youths issued Ndigbo to vacate all northern territories before October.

According to reports, the outcome of the on-going meeting is yet to be out.

However, the meeting is coming barely 24 hours after the Arewa group said it’s earlier eviction order stands.

The Nigeria Police Force has disassociated itself from the activities of the pro-Biafra agitators and warned of taking decisive actions on officers who defy the oath of the Police of giving absolute loyalty to Nigeria.

The wife of ailing Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha Buhari, has just returned from London where she went to visit her husband.

The President has been away in London for close to 90 days on his second medical vacation this year.

Mrs. Buhari, upon her return, touched down at Owerri to grace the 2017 August meeting hosted by women in the state.

Nnamdi Kanu Flaws Osibanjo For Calling Biafra Agitation Unconstitutional (See Statement)

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, on Wednesday, flawed the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, over his statement that the Biafran agitation was unconstitutional.

Nnamdi Kanu, made the statement in a world press conference he held through his team of lawyers in Abuja, in which he stated that Osinbajo’s view about Biafra was “patently misconceived and inherently faulty”, despite his rank as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

Arewa Youths Insist On Quit Notice On Igbos

The coalition of Northern Group, Arewa youths have insisted that the quit notice they issued on Ndigbo living in the North to leave the region before October 1st or face forceful eviction still stands.

Leader of the group, Shettima Yerima who spoke in Abuja on Tuesday, said though the groups in the coalition had meetings on the ultimatum, they haven't canceled the quit notice order.

This is despite the Arewa youths had through him, assured of lifting the order as they have seen their intent for issuing the quit notice materialising.

The political tension in the country heightens as a Niger Delta militant group, Adaka Boro Avengers, ABA, declared its readiness to join forces with the Biafra agitators to fight for their freedom from Nigeria.
