Nnamdi Kanu Will Receive A Hero's Weclome In Lagos -- FFK

Against the backdrop of insinuations that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu would be face opposition in his intended visit to Lagos state, the former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK) has argued that Kanu would enjoy a heroic welcome instead.

Recall Nnamdi Kanu had last week revealed his plans of visiting the commercial hub of the country as well as Kaduna state soonest.

But the announcement of the visit was greeted with antagonism from individuals who allege that Kanu’s safety cannot be guaranteed in Lagos.

Nigeria Will Die Should Anything Happen To Nnamdi Kanu -- IRA Fires Back At Arewa Youths

A pan Igbo group, Igbo Renaissance Agenda, IRA, yesterday, Monday warned that the dreaded nightmare of disintegration would be Nigeria’s lot should anything happen to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi, Nnamdi Kanu.

According to the group, Nigeria “would not survive it, even a minute longer,” should anything happen to Kanu who of late has been dragged over by the Arewa youths who have persistently demanded the Acting President to arrest the IPOB leader.

MASSOB Set To Open Radio Biafra In Germany

The Uwazuruike-led Biafra Independent Movement, a sprinter group of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has revealed plans to open a branch of its Radio Biafra International in Germany.

This was made known in a statement by the group’s Director of Information, Mazi Chris Mocha at Onitsha, Anambra State, yesterday, Monday.

According to the statement, Uwazuruike ntoed that the celebration proper of 18 years of  MASSOB would take place in Onitsha, Anambra State on September 13.

For the second time, Deaf and Dumb from Imo state have blocked the entrance to Imo state government House, demanding justice from the government whom they accused careless about their plights

The group mainly dominated by youths were captured holding banners during their protest,  and expressing their grievances.

Part of their grievances included poor learning environment for the deaf and dumb and non payment of their subvention to the tune of 12 million naira.

IPOB Denies Attack On Gov. Obiano, Says It Is The Machination Of The Government (See Statement)

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu  has denied the attack on Obiano at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Ekwulobia on Sunday.

According to the group, the purported attack on the governor was orchestrated within the government circle to tarnish IPOB's image.

It therefore, accused both the Anambra state government and the Federal government of Nigeria of fighting to destroy its good reputation and create bias in the mind of the public on its struggle.

What Would Have Happened To IPOB Members Who Attacked Gov. Obiano -- Anambra Commissioner Of Police

The Commissioner of Police, Anambra state Command, Garba Umar, has ​stated that the confrontation of the members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, against the governor of Anambra state, Willie Obiano would have taken a bloody turn had police officers guarding the governor, not restrained themselves.

The IPOB had yesterday, Sunday, blocked the governor at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Ekwulobia, Anambra State, when he and his entourage visited the church on the invitation of Catholic youths.

The media especially from the South East geopolitical zone was awash with the incident that occured between the governor of Anambra state, Willie Obiano and the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Gov. Willie Obiano Attacked By IPOB Members At The Church

The governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, met huge embarrassment today, Sunday afternoon as he was attacked by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Ekwulobia, Anambra State.

It was gathered though the scene was tensed, security operatives exercised restraint and caution

“Governor Obiano had gone to the church to worship, only to be embarrassed by IPOB members in their hundreds, if not thousands, who stormed the church in buses.

Mob Attack Kaduna Senators During Rally In Kaduna State

Both Senators Shehu Sani and Suleiman Hunkuyi from Kaduna, were today, Sunday attacked in Kaduna.

They were about to address newsmen when a mob reportedly stormed the venue, armed.

The incident occurred at the Press Centre of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, in Kaduna, Kaduna State.

Sani and Hunkuyi were rushed to safety by their security aides and journalists.

The assailants destroyed the vehicle that conveyed the senators to the Press Centre.

Biafra Not Possible, Agitate For Igbo Presidency -- Orji Uzor Kalu

Erstwhile governor of Abia state, Dr. Mazi Orji Uzor Kalu has ruled out the possibility of the Biafra restoration, stating that the dream cannot be actualized without including Referendum in the constitution of Nigeria.

According to the business Mogul, instead of wasting energy on the agitation for secession, Ndigbo should rather focus on agitating for the Presidency which they have been denied of, since the fall of the First Republic in 1966.

APGA Leadership: Victor Oye Wins in 2 Courts, Martin Agbaso, others lose

The High court sitting in Awka has nullified the removal of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Victor Oye.

The embattled National Chairman was removed illegally and replaced with the now outstered Chairman, Martin Agbaso.

The court further held that only the National Convention can legally remove the National Chairman.
